From the onset of the world cup and then followed by IPL is India really so crazy for cricket that we cannot of think of any other sport to watch or follow.The stadiums are jam packed, people are willing to buy tickets at exhorbitant rates.The biggies are using their money power to get tickets.
The question I ask one and all is that is cricket a religion that during the upcoming match between India and Pakistan people want to leave work,finish work early stay off roads. Why doesn't this happen with any other sport.Is obessission in our nature so high that we tend to forget who we really are and what we need to do.
Yes India has changed and money has flown into the middle class and people can afford to spend and enjoy life but why does everything else take a back seat.it is only during cricket that the nation becomes one, politicians cashing in on it.Can we please have some answers
